Purpose
This site provides information about the company's products and services. It is not a shop: no products are sold online and no orders or payments are taken through the website.
Technical information
Product descriptions, treatments and projects shown here are indicative. Every surface is a different case: how a treatment performs depends on the material, its condition and the application conditions. This information does not replace the product's technical data sheet or safety data sheet, both available on request, nor the advice of our technical department.
Intellectual property
The texts, photographs, product names, trade mark and design of this site belong to HIGALTOR TECHNICS, S.L.U or are used with permission. You may view, print and quote them citing the source. Reproducing, distributing or adapting them for commercial purposes requires written permission.
Links to other sites
This site links to third-party pages, such as the OpenStreetMap map on the contact page. We do not control or answer for their content; once you leave this site, the terms and policies of whoever runs it apply.

This page and the relationship with its visitors are governed by Spanish law.

Who processes your data, and which data
The data controller is HIGALTOR TECHNICS, S.L.U, tax ID B67622647, registered office at Av. Europa, 18 — Pol. Ind. Les Comes, 08700 Igualada (Barcelona), e-mail administracion@higaltor.com.
This website has no forms, no user accounts and no private area. The only personal data we receive is what you choose to send when you write to one of our e-mail addresses or call us: usually your name, e-mail address, telephone number and whatever you tell us in your message.
What they are used for, and on what legal basis
They are used to answer your enquiry, advise you technically and, where applicable, prepare a quotation or manage the commercial relationship. The legal basis is the taking of pre-contractual steps at your request and our legitimate interest in responding to those who write to us (articles 6.1.b and 6.1.f GDPR).
No automated decisions are made and no profiling is carried out. Your data is not used to send you advertising you have not asked for.
How long they are kept and who they are shared with
They are kept for as long as the enquiry or the commercial relationship lasts and then for the periods required by legal and tax obligations. After that, they are deleted.
Data is not shared with third parties, except where required by law. It is accessed, as processors and solely in order to provide us with their service, by our e-mail provider and by the company hosting this website.
Your rights
You may ask us to access, rectify or erase your data, to object to or restrict its processing, or to have it ported. Simply write to administracion@higaltor.com stating which right you wish to exercise; we may ask you for a document proving your identity.
If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
Cookie policy
This site does not install cookies
We use no cookies of our own or of third parties, no analytics, no tracking pixels and no advertising. We also load no fonts, libraries or videos hosted outside this server. That is why you will see no cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to.
The exception: the map on the contact page
The contact page shows an embedded OpenStreetMap map. When it loads, your browser connects to openstreetmap.org, which may record your IP address and use its own technical cookies. OpenStreetMap is a non-profit project that does not use that data for advertising; its terms are published at osmfoundation.org. If you would rather not load it, the written address and links to open the map in a separate window are right next to it.
Server logs
Like any web server, the one hosting this site keeps a technical log of visits — IP address, date and time, page requested and browser — for a limited period. It is used to keep the service running and to detect security incidents, not to identify anyone or measure audiences. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the site working and staying protected.
